Lions Day at Georgia Lions Camp is a special tradition that celebrates the partnership between our dedicated Lions and the incredible campers we serve. Held on our beautiful camp ground in Waycross, Georgia this day offers Lions a firsthand look at the life-changing experiences their support makes possible. From watching campers ride horses and playing beeper kickball together, to sharing a meal and gathering around the campfire for s'mores. Lions Day is all about building connections, making memories and seeing the camp's mission in action.
Come, participate and witness the joy, confidence and independence that your involvement helps create for individuals living with visual impairments.

June Highlights!
We had a pretty busy month. Some of our members attended the LCIF Chairman Gala at the GA Aquarium, we thank the participants and donors for the White Cane Walk for Sight Saving Surgeries and the attendees at the June State Convention.
At the last meeting of this month, we honored two of our very deserving Lions with the "Melvin Jones Fellow Award", Tony Pickens and Lillian Pickens. This extremely prestigious award recognizes Lions for their exemplary humanitarian service to their community. We also presented our "Lions of the Year to Lion Rob Lefebvre and Lillian Pickens. We had the pleasure of having PDG Pam Williams who conducted the induction ceremony of our 2026-2027 officers. Please make sure to congratulate these members and offer them your support!
We also had the honor of having with us Leyla Senyuz and her daughter Bahar from the Atlas Club in Istanbul, Turkey. David Crawford was also recognized for his efforts with the Global Extension Team.
Let's all stand behind our new President Fran Schefer and give him the support he needs so our club can have another successful year!
Thank you so much to Mark Pamperin for his leadership this past year! Good job!!
