September Highlights
This month with started with our Board of Directors meeting at Mambo's Café, followed by The Lionheart Grilling and Gridiron Fundraiser, downtown Alpharetta. This longstanding annual tailgating tradition benefits The Lionheart School. The next day some of our members attended the Purple Pansies, Pillar of Hope Gala. This is a major fundraiser raising awareness for pancreatic cancer. They raised $110,000 in the first 10 minutes! About 310 people attended the event held this year at The Metropolitan Club in Alpharetta. Our own Judy Morris is one of the organizers.
From there we had our regular monthly meeting where we had as our guest Ms. Cheryl Sims | President and Founder of Wills Park Equestrian Foundation.
And to close the month with a "BANG" we had a crew of our members cleaning a couple of streets downtown
Alpharetta ahead of the Holidays!! We do this every quarter. If you would like to join us, let us know.
