District Peace Poster Entry Deadline
For nearly four decades, the Lions International Peace Poster Contest has given children ages 11-13 the opportunity to share what peace means to them through art. Each year, Lions clubs around the world sponsor the contest in schools and organized youth groups, giving young people the opportunity to be recognized at local and international levels — and awarded a grand prize of US$5,000 — for their creativity in sharing their vision of the current year’s theme.

October Highlights!
2026 Fall Festival downtown Alpharetta! Amy Andrews made our Lions Club Scarecrow this year! Good job!
We started the month with Evening in the End Zone, a “Night of Spectacles”. This is an annual event honoring the legacy of great athletes, coaches, vision professionals and community leaders who have made a difference with their generosity and spirit of giving back to those less fortunate in our community. They raised $545,000!!
Our BOD October 8th was held at the Olde Blind Irish Pub, followed by the WFSD Gala (Warrior Freedom Service Dogs).
Even though their 6th Annual Restoring Freedom Dinner Gala is over, you can still support their mission! Check out their website

Your generosity helps provide life-changing Service Dogs at no cost to Veterans living with PTSD and TBI.

And to close the month... we had some fun having a Halloween theme monthly meeting! 🎃💀
Hope you had the opportunity to attend one, some, or all events this last month.
